......This beautiful bird is considered a nuisance due to its sheer numbers in many areas of Canada. They are a familiar sight along the Magnetawan River waterway which our property fronts along. This Canada Goose is just less than half size and was carved from basswood in 3 pieces for wood grain strength. One of my earlier carvings, this bird took an honourable mention in the intermediate division of the Loyalist College Quinte Woodcarving Show in Belleville, Ontario SOLD
